New from Basel 2003 – Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore T3
The Panerai has been deposed from its position as the biggest, meanest MFer on the wrist.
The new king of the hill is the limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore “T3”, launched to celebrate the launch of Arnie’s new movie. The limited edition box will include DVDs of T1 and T2 and a coupon to enable the owner to obtain a DVD of T3 when available.
Note the protecting clasps over the pushers and the winding button, the closing surface uses a new ceramic material to ensure positive closing, the clasps themselves have adjustable pressure screws which allow the user to choose between easy opening (if you use the chrono regularly) or difficult (for security). The watch has either a black face, as shown above or a silver face as shown below.
