Industry News – Locman Watches Sponsors Sailboat

Locman of Italy, based in the Island of Elba has joined other notable watch companies in the sponsoring of a sailboat.

The “Locman”, a 30 foot open yacht designed by German Frers will run in the 2003 edition of the famous ocean
regatta “Transat des Alizes”, which will start in Brest, France on October 26th
and will end in the Caribbean in December.

At the helm of the Locman boat
will be Luca Trentini, a native of Elba who is an experienced yachtsman and last
won the Middle Sea Race in 2002. The crew will be outfitted with new titanium
and carbo-fiber Locman watches.
