Scenes from the Hermès “A Moment in Time” Launch Party
Jessica
During Baselworld 2014, Montres Hermès hosted “A Moment in Time” cocktail dinner to officially launch its latest watch models. Hundreds of guests attended the launch event at the Brasilea Arts Centre, a converted ship engine factory located in Basel.
The crowded mezzanine housed the bar and lounging areas with sweeping views of the Rhine River. The middle floor displayed large-scale art installations by Argentine artist Leandro Erlich. Erlich’s installations take familiar, everyday spaces and subverts them to blur the line between reality and illusion. Interacting with his art was the perfect segue to the top floor, which displayed the latest creation by Montres Hermès, the Dressage L’heure Masquée (masked time).
