Industry News – Frederic Piguet Working on a New Caliber

Seems that the wizards at Swatch’s Frederic Piguet have been working on new Equation of Time movement. A patent application was filed this past summer in the United States for this ebauche.

Since making complicated movements takes a very long time, how far along could they be?

Where will it end up? Will it go to Blancpain or Breguet?! Will it be sold to a 3rd party?!
