Industry News – Golay Spierer Introduces Blue Gold Watch Hands

This custom creation (like all Golay Spierer products) is a ladies’ watch with a left-hand crown, and a hand-carved Peseux 7001 caliber movement.

What makes it unique is that it has the world’s first blue gold hands, which are formed with a special alloy (21kt gold) which turns blue in contact with a flame.

This process was developed by renowned Geneva jeweller Ludwig Müller, who is the worldwide patent holder for this procedure.

PS – Golay is working on a Tourbillon Regulateur to be unveiled at Basel 2003.
