Industry News – Silk Shantung Back in Vogue

Bros Manifatture, the noted Italian maker of quality leather straps, has announced a new line of straps featuring silk shantung. Shantung is a fabric with a rough nubby surface, made out of spun wild silk.

The company has patented a process that makes it water resistant, which is ideally suited to sporting watches.

The strap is available in sizes 18, 20 & 22, and in seven different colors; black, red, orange, cordovan, yellow, blue and brown.
