Industry News – The Smallest Tourbillon in the World to be Sold at Auction

Starting on Saturday April 12, Antiquorum, the world’s leading watch auctioneer, will hold its first European auction of the 2003 season with a sale of Important Collector’s Watches, Wristwatches, Clocks, Horological Tools & Documents at the Noga Hilton, Geneva.

The sale is expected to feature around 500 lots which can be previewed at Antiquorum’s showroom on 2 rue du Mont Blanc on 9th, 10th and 11th of April.

The highlight will be the auctioning of the the smallest and most incredible tourbillon in the world, which was made by Fritz-André Robert-Charrue in Le Locle in 1945.

This unique and exceptional one-minute tourbillon regulator watch in a pink gold exhibition case, measures just 24mm in diameter and is expected to fetch in excess of 600,000 Swiss Francs (about $442,000).
