New Model – Ernst Benz ChronoLunar

Ernst Benz Limited is expanding its line of massive 47mm Swiss automatic watches with their new ChronoLunar wristwatch. In addition to providing all the advantages of an elapsed time stop-watch, the ChronoLunar provides a graphic view of moon phase as well as easy-to-read day and date indicators.

The well-proven Valjoux 7751 movement is housed in a massive 47mm stainless steel case, machined from a solid block of 316L stainless steel, which is polished to a mirror finish. A huge domed sapphire crystal provides excellent visibility and is extra hard to prevent scratching. The exhibition back is likewise fitted with a sapphire crystal to allow viewing of the automatic movement.

Water resistant to 5 atmospheres (165 feet), the ChonoLunar has a large 9mm knurled crown with double O-rings. Water resistance is assured even if the crown is in the extended position. In addition, both the pushers and the date setting push button are O-ring sealed. Each watch carries a full two-year warranty.

Available with either white or black dials, these watches feature luminous hands and numerals and are offered with hand-sewn black leather strap or a highly-polished solid stainless steel bracelet.

MSRP is $2,395 in leather or $2,595 in steel.
