Industry News – TimeZone Sponsors Convergence 2003 [8/12/03]

I am very pleased to announce that TimeZone has joined the Convergence as a supporting Forum Partner. The Convergence convention is a unique event among watch enthusiasts. The goal of Convergence is twofold:

• To offer watch collectors, buyers and enthusiasts the opportunity to communicate directly with watchmakers, watch manufacturers and their representatives.

• To provide a venue for watch enthusiasts to connect with each other.

2003 marks the second year of Convergence, and once again it will be held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a long time center of horology in North America. This year’s event will take in three days of activities including special trips to the NAWCC museum, school and library as well as a personal tour of the RGM Watch Company. As was the case last year, attendees will have an opportunity to win watches donated by the sponsors. Last year, over $10,000 in merchandise was given away. Convergence is the ultimate annual event for watch enthusiasts in North America.

This year’s Convergence conference will be held October 17th, 18th & 19th.
