Industry News – Citizen Wristwatch Utilizes World’s Smallest Analog Quartz Movement![]() Citizen created a sensation at Basel 2002 when it unveiled the world’s smallest quartz analog movement, the caliber G720. As a result of the positive feedback received, at Basel 2003, Citizen unveiled a unisex model that displays the time in five zones, along with a new ladies’ model with a diamond-encrusted bezel that functions equally well as a watch and as a piece of jewelry. ![]() Specifications are: 5mm x 6mm x 2.5mm, with an accuracy of ± 20 seconds a month. Battery life is 2 years. ![]() Unfortunately, this watch will only be sold in Japan. It will be available in the Fall of 2003. 5/14/03 |
